Job Description
Primary responsibilities of the Environmental Analyst, Senior include managing the development and implementation of environmental regulatory compliance programs for CVS Health facilities across the enterprise. The Senior Consultant will specifically manage environmental permitting and reporting projects by independently collaborating with business partners, regulatory agencies, outside consultants and internal Environmental Department staff. These programs include: EPCRA Tier II Hazardous Material Inventory reporting, hazardous waste reporting, in-store drug take back kiosk permitting, Distribution Center stormwater permitting, annual air emission reporting/permit renewals, storage tank financial assurance obligations, tank permitting/renewals and Pollution Prevention Plan reporting. The Senior Consultant will use project management skills to ensure that these obligations are completed to the highest quality level possible within regulatory mandated deadlines.

The Senior Consultant will work with colleagues at CVS facilities to support the facilities during regulatory inspections on select topics such as air emissions, storage tanks and water discharges. The Senior Consultant will support the continued development and implementation of the CVS Program Standard related to Regulated Medical Waste. Lastly, the Senior Consultant directs the efforts of Consultants in the Environmental Department during the execution of work described herein. The Senior Environmental Specialist will have in-depth knowledge of major federal environmental regulations, affiliated state regulations and their applicability to sites within each business unit. As needed, this position will support environmental programs by providing field assistance to select CVS Health facilities.

Required Qualifications
One or more years of experience in environmental management.

Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years experience in environmental management. Knowledge of Environmental Management Information Systems, ability to perform complicated data analysis and ability to manage a small team of one or two Environmental Specialists, as needed.
Knowledge of Federal, state and local Hazardous Waste, Air, Stormwater, Storage Tanks, Stormwater, Hazardous Materials Storage and Wastewater Discharge Regulations. Foundational skills in project management, communicating with regulatory agencies, and critical thinking and problem solving
Ability to create cross-functional working relationships, implement environmental compliance programs, influence others without authority and analyze data.

Education
Bachelor's Degree required
