If you are a Senior Scientist with experience, please read on!What You Will Be Doing
As our newest Senior Scientist, you will work in a client facing position to provide phenomenal value in the drive of CryoEM adoption practices to further novel structural support and evidence against the most taxing of targets we currently face in drug discovery & development. On a day-to-day basis you will be expected to:
- Develop & implement project specific workflows to satisfy our clients' goals in a collaborative team setting
- Review & comprehend scientific literature on samples to assist in the analysis and understanding of projects
- Perform electron microscopy data analysis and process reconstructions (up to 3D)
- Build & refine models
- Construct inclusive reports detailing the findings and results of image analysis and image processing
- Relay crucial information pertaining to on-going analyses and results to clients and address any comments, concerns, or other feedback from clients
Because this is a highly computer based role, remote candidates located on the east coast will be considered. We highly value teamwork and colleague connections, so we do prefer a candidate who is comfortable working in the office a couple days per month.What You Need for this Position
- Ph. D. in Structural Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biology or a related area of life sciences
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in cryoEM analysis of biological molecules
- Single particle analysis and high resolution cryoEM structure determination experience
- Hands on experience with model building and refinement
- Strong communication skills highly preferred
