Job Description
Conduct field monitoring and maintenance activities for a variety of projects in support of environmental investigations and remediation. Take groundwater samples and notes from multiple sites and locations and convert into a report.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Conduct field monitoring and maintenance activities for a variety of projects in support of environmental investigations and remediation. Take groundwater samples and notes from multiple sites and locations and convert into a report.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Sampling of groundwater and air using proper sampling and safety procedures.
- Coordinate the collection, recording, and processing of groundwater/air samples and measurements to fulfill defined environmental monitoring requirements.
- Perform regular inspection of groundwater monitoring wells, remediation systems, and vapor intrusion depressurization systems.
- Coordinate the collection, recording, and processing of groundwater/air samples to fulfill defined environmental monitoring requirements.
- Follow a schedule and set of procedures which will ensure the shipment of samples to appropriate laboratories within the required time periods.
- Maintain proper field notes and documentation using field notebooks, spreadsheets, word processing and database software.
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, co-workers, and contractors to ensure field tasks are completed in a manner to yield representative results.
