The Denzel Group, an award-winning search firm, has been chosen to work with an industry leader in Baltimore on their quest for a talented QC Supervisor. In this role you will provide supervision and oversight of microbiological activities in this hands-on role, which includes writing of documentation, and management of lab staff.
Responsibilities
Responsible for scheduling, execution and quality documentation of the environmental and utility monitoring programs, as well as raw material, in-process, and product release testing.
Management of lab staff.
Scheduling and execution of test data review, and support investigations.
Provide technical and scientific assistance to clarify and troubleshoot scientific challenges.
Ensure that lab activities are conducted according to safety guidelines, policies and legislation.
Ensure needed equipment and materials are procured, tested and available.
Requirements
University degree in chemistry, biology or related field.
5+ years' relevant technical/scientific experience, including leadership or supervisory experience, in a GMP and GLP environments.
Technical writing experience of study protocols and reports.
Ability to analyze data and interpret results to make scientifically valid conclusions.
