Environmental Scientist (Hillside, NJ) Operate & analyze all the trace materials in samples using ICP-MS, GFAAS, AA, GC-MS & UV-VIS.
Perform routine analyses of various parameters in drinking water, waste water, and solid waste samples.
Carry out Mass-Spectrometry based method dvlpmnt, method validation, & sample analysis.
Dvlp & validate ICP based trace analysis methods for quantitation of impurities in sample matrices.
Upload data into LIMS for review. Formulate standard solutions based on the sample's acid matrix & concentration range.
Ensure that food analyzing processes conform to government & processing standards.
Bachelor's degree or equiv. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Food Science or Food Technology w/2yrs of exp. Must have exp or demonstrated skills in ICP-MS, ICP-OES, LIMS and P-Test.
