The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a position within the NRCS Agriculture Conservation Experienced Services (ACES) Program which provides support to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Selected candidates will also be required to undergo a federal security background check.
Job Requirements:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist soil and district conservationist in the implementation of total resource management system plans; provides assistance in conservation planning. Responsible for surveying, staking, information gathering, engineering plan preparations and construction inspections as authorized.
Duties include:
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; able to pass a Federal Background check; BA in forestry, range management or a field directly related to the position, or that included at least 24 semester hours in any combination of courses related above; experience can replace degree. Must have valid PR driver's license; oral communication - Bilingual (Spanish/English); attention to detail; customer service and attention to detail.
Hours & Compensation: Part-Time position working 32 hours per week @ $18.00 per hour, vacation and sick leave.
Job Requirements:

Duties include:
- Assist in field investigations to determine the problems landowners faces and collects the data needed for field offices to develop structural solutions.
- Checks completed practices to determine if goals were met and continually follows-up to determine if additional intervention as required
- Independently conducts surveys and design of conservation practices

Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; able to pass a Federal Background check; BA in forestry, range management or a field directly related to the position, or that included at least 24 semester hours in any combination of courses related above; experience can replace degree.
