IEc is seeking individuals with a graduate degree to join our firm as Associates to support our work on topics such as natural resource damage assessment, oil spill assessment, habitat restoration, environmental impact analyses, and site remediation. Associates gather and evaluate data; design and implement quantitative analyses using a variety of scientific methods, GIS spatial analyses, and statistics; interpret and communicate results; and recommend modifications to achieve project objectives. Consulting work at IEc requires skills including paying attention to detail, asking questions, identifying potential solutions when challenges arise, independently managing your time to meet deadlines, and contributing to a project team. Associates also may coordinate projects, interact with clients, and manage Research Analysts' tasks.

Associates must demonstrate academic experience in at least one of a wide range of disciplines relevant to IEc's work including but not limited to biology (e.g., marine, wildlife), ecology, ecotoxicology, chemistry, hydrology, geology, or a related field. To support our dynamic, cross-disciplinary work, successful candidates have strong analytic, problem solving, and communications skills, as well as experience implementing quantitative analytic methods applicable to their field of study.

Because IEc is committed to growth from within, we seek Associate candidates with a long-term interest in a consulting career. Associates are eligible for promotion to senior positions.
