Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company in South San Francisco, CA is currently looking for a Senior Associate Scientist (Cell Biology, Molecular Biology) / Pharma Industry to join their expanding team.
Position Details:
Job Title: Senior Associate Scientist (Cell Biology, Molecular Biology) / Pharma Industry
Duration: 12 Months Contract, extendable up to 36 months
Location: South San Francisco, CA
Note:
Client has the right-to-hire you as a permanent employee at any time during or after the end of contract.
You may participate in the company group medical insurance plan.
Job Description:
Candidate is required to be on site, lab based, with flexible hours (local candidates);
Doctorate degree OR Master's degree and 3 years of scientific experience any industry or academia OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of scientific experience any industry;
Able to design, execute, and optimize cell, protein, and tissue-based experiments and independently perform data analysis and interpretation;
Plans, conducts or monitors experiments, records and organizes data, analyses results, generates robust and reliable data and/or ensures that contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations;
Record of independently designing, executing, and analyzing biological experiments; Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Experience with in vivo animal model development is a plus;
To perform experiments, organize data and analyze results under minimal supervision. With minimal supervision, plans, conducts or monitors experiments, records and organizes data, analyses results, generates robust and reliable data and/or Ensures that contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations.
Hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related discipline
Record of independently designing, executing, and analyzing biological experiments
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with in vivo animal model development is a plus
Job Requirements:
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
Hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Perform lab based experiments
Organize, analyze and report data
