Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Cancer Biology is seeking a full-time Research Fellow to work in the laboratory of Dr. Maria Czyzyk-Krzeska.
Post baccalaureate Research Fellowship is designed for recent college graduates (within 1-2 years from graduation) seeking future careers in science, medicine, or biotechnology. It provides the opportunity for training in molecular and cellular biomedical research under the supervision of a professional mentor responsible for the fellow's progress.
Essential Functions
The training includes performance of molecular experiments, data analysis and preparation for publication; participation in journal clubs and other groups or training meetings; and interactions with other researchers, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty. Research fellows are expected to be fully engaged in the research programs of their laboratories. The appointment is limited to three years with the possibility of a one-year extension.
