Description:
- Weigh, prep, and mix samples for microbiological testing.
- Media, reagent, buffer mixing.
- Weighing samples and adding media, plating, streaking, bacteria counts, and microscope work.
- Set up samples in incubator.
- Read work orders and schedule correct testing based on test requirements.
- Follow Lab SOPs for safety in use of chemicals, media, and equipment.
- Adhere to GMP, GLP regulations.
- Documentation and tracking of work in LIMS system.
- Cleaning glassware, shelves, floors, stocking inventory/chemicals and other general lab maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-BA/BS in Microbiology, Biology, Cell Biology, Biomedical Science, or related
-Attention to detail
