WSP is currently initiating a search for a Zero Waste Consultant - Intern for our San Francisco office. Duties and Responsibilities: - Support WSP Sustainability, Energy & Climate Change consultants on Zero Waste related projects. - Research initiatives that will support our clients in moving closer towards achieving their Zero Waste goals. - Collect data to help inform environmental impacts of sustainability related activities. - Collect data to help inform economic cost vs. benefit impacts of sustainability related activities. - Make recommendations related to enviornmental and economic impacts of sustainability related activities. Job Requirements

> Minimum Qualifications: - 1st - Pursuing Masters Degree in Environmental Science & Management - 2nd - Prior experience working on sustainability initiatives - 3rd - Detail oriented; strong research & analytical skills; resourceful self-starter - Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures - Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working on zero waste or other sustainability related initiatives - Experience working on projects requiring environmental and cost related analysis - Experience working on consultative projects About WSP USA WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
