POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Associate Microbiologist is responsible for performing microbiological analysis of raw materials, utilities & environment (water, compressed air etc) and finished products, related documentation and activities according SOPs/methods and GMP regulations.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Test raw materials, finished products, utilities and environment for microbial contamination and complete related documentation in time.
Provide assistance in training personnel.
Prepare and standardize all reagents, culture media, solutions and microbial culture as required
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
Validate procedures used in the micro lab.
Cleaning of lab glassware, arranging media and other lab items
Complete all necessary documentation in microbiology lab to ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance.
Other duties as assigned.
