Your Role:
This position is for a junior- to mid- level Staff Biologist to work in both the field and the office. Based out of our Pasadena office to perform project biological studies, regulatory permitting and other varied industry duties. This position is initially Part Time with transition to Full Time.

Your Role:

Responsibilities:
- Performing field surveys, desktop biological resource assessments, regulatory permitting, coordination, mapping, report writing, and other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Botany, Field ecology, Wildlife, or related organismic biology field is required
- Excellent organizational, writing and oral communication skills
- Experience working as a field biologist
- General knowledge of California plant communities and wildlife species
- Driving experience in remote, rugged and undeveloped terrain
- Ability to conduct field work for extended periods of time
- Physically fit to navigate rugged conditions on foot while carry supplies
