Our foundational science harnesses the ability to create and then direct the differentiation of universal pluripotent stem cells into authentic, functional cells that can be used as allogeneic cellular therapies to treat a broad array of diseases. We can also further engineer these cells, enabling them to produce enzymes, antibodies, and other proteins for additional therapeutic benefit.
We are passionate about delivering on the promise of cellular and gene therapy, shaping the future of cellular medicine, and delivering new therapies to millions of patients with treatment options.
We are seeking individuals who are collaborative, thrive in a fun and dynamic culture, and are steadfast in the commitment to advance cutting-edge cellular therapies to impact patients' lives.

Description of position

The Director/Sr. Director role in Computational Biology will be a key leader of a dynamic and progressive team Companying pluripotent stem cell-based therapies utilizing state-of-the-art culturing technology at commercial scale. The computational biology department performs a wide variety of functions across the organization, from genomic sequence analysis through to wearables for tech transfer activities. Computational biology seeks to aid in these efforts by providing access to cutting edge analytical techniques. Data collection and scalable storage platforms form the backbone of the computational platform and provide the data and analysis needed for rapid prototyping and experimentation. The department will provide critical insights into cell therapy process development and manufacture with the ultimate goal of optimizing and streamlining these tasks. The successful candidate will lead a diverse, cross-site team of computational biologists executing a wide range of projects, including working directly with program leads. The candidate should be comfortable communicating complex analytical pipelines while at the same time translating corporate goals into discrete, actionable tasks for the computational team.
