Company is seeking a Staff Environmental Scientist with PFAS and emergence contaminant experience to join our Environmental Business Line team in support of our Global PFAS network. We are looking for a task-oriented candidate with strong organizational and team building skills, who feels comfortable with the dynamic workflow of research and development. Existing professional collaboration with national and international academic universities and research institutions is preferred.
As an Environmental Scientist, you will work alongside Senior Scientists, Project Managers, and Technical Experts on various activities in support of diverse environmental assessment and remediation projects. This opportunity is to support our growing emerging contaminant project portfolio and remediation capabilities.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Providing technical analysis and support to a variety of PFAS technology demonstrations currently underway for the US Federal Government and industrial clients.
Travel (25%) assisting in the field with investigations and sampling, conducting pilots and full-scale remedial efforts, and participating in face-to-face client, technical, and other stakeholder meetings.
Assisting with the development of technical reports, presentations, cost-estimates, and proposals
Working with our treatability lab and PFAS R&D team to design and implement bench and pilot studies.
Working with our Global PFAS team to track, organize, and create technical bulletins regarding ongoing R&D within various disciplines.
Working effectively with local, national, and global technical and client teams.
Preparing Feasibility Studies
Developing visual, graphical, and tabular summaries of environmental data and trends
Coordinating work schedules with subcontractors
Conducting project related research (historical data, regulations, etc.)

Key skills

Demonstrated experience with emerging contaminants and PFAS investigation and remediation for both soil and groundwater
Experience working for Department of Defense clients
Proficient with Microsoft Office-based software programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Focus on health and safety
Demonstrated teambuilding and organizational skills #LI-JC1

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Undergraduate Degree in Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or closely related field
5 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

MS (or PhD) in Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or closely related field
