The EHS Manager is responsible for achieving a zero accident rate through observation, training and documentation of environmental, safety, fire prevention and health-related laws and regulations. The position will be responsible for coordinating regulatory programs and its permitting applications. Focus on finding opportunities to reduce environmental, safety and health liabilities while providing leadership in the development of responsible programs that represent our culture. Plan and administer training and awareness programs in environmental and safety prevention and protection, and other regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

Managers the development and implementation of all environmental, health and safety programs
Conduct compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Environmental, Health, Safety and management.
Conduct detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis
Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs to all employees
Conduct on-going training regarding environmental, safety and health for all employees
Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies
Maintain filing systems regarding worker training and safety (OSHA Logs, HazCom, Training Logs, etc…)
Co-ordinate and manage all worker's compensation claims and programs.
Maintain accident statistics, analyze trends and propose/take action as necessary
Responsible for implementing global EHS management system operation
Responsible for minimizing environmental pollutants and improve recycling / recycling
Management of environmental pollutants: Under 50% of local regulation limit.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of environmental health and safety
Required Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field.
Preferred Masters degree in Risk Management, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field.
Preferred EHS relational skills and certificates (PE)
