Job Title: Global Product Manager, Molecular Biology

What will you do?
The Global Product Manager, Molecular Biology/PCR Plastics will be part of the Molecular Biology team supporting catalog and OEM PCR plastics. The Product Manager will be responsible for working with internal and external customers to review opportunities, develop project requirements, and work with cross-functional teams including product management, R&D, quality, operations, sales, and finance to execute new product launch and commercialization. The Product Manager will work with Sr. Product Management to support customer relationships, provide updated sales forecasts to demand planners, and develop global pricing strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support customer relationships by working with sales, marketing, operations and quality team to deliver cost effective, high quality products on time.* Manage new and existing partner relationships with client, R&D, and operations team to understand product requirements, scope of work, and determine feasibility with considerations for the customer, team and company needs.* Work with catalog product management to explore and strategize product portfolio alignment to serve both catalog and OEM customers effectively.* Responsible for setting up and managing all project related activities including documentation, SKU creation, pricing strategies, and production forecasts.* Responsible for product value proposition and portfolio life cycle management.* Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive situation. Work with market development team to create strategies to drive growth and take market share.* Develop and deliver product training for internal and external customers.
How will you get there?
Education:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering or related field. MBA or Ph.D a plus.
Experience:* 2-4 years of relevant Product Management experience.* Organizational and planning skills required.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present information.* Ability to manage multiple complex individual and team tasks autonomously to meet strict deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Experience with life science, applied, or clinical markets.* Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence others.* Strong attention to detail.* Ability to travel globally, approximately 25% (Post -COVID)
