Position Summary
KIK Custom Products has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager that will support its pool chemical manufacturing facility in Conyers, Georgia. The EHS Manager will be a member of the new Site Leadership Team and responsible for the day to day management of the site's EHS programs. The EHS Manager drives continual improvement in health, environmental, safety, security and sustainability performance for the facility and partners with the Site Leadership Team by providing SME guidance and support regarding EHS
issues.

This position will report to the Regional EHS Manager.

  • Direct and manage environmental, health, safety, security and sustainability activities tocomply with all applicable local, state and federal regulations and KIK Corporate EHS policies, to prevent injuries to employees and negative impact to the environment.
  • Partner with Site Leadership to ensure proper EHS protocols, plans and initiatives are in place and consistently followed.
  • Ensure all applicable laws and regulations are tracked and that necessary action is taken to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure maintenance of EHS management information systems and documentation.
  • Successfully lead, manage and execute EHS initiatives including policies, procedures, programs, and agency regulations and compliance systems with the overall drive of continuous improvement.
  • Identify and analyze organizational risks and have the ability to develop and implement programs to mitigate these risks and achieve desired results.
  • Development and execution of tactical and strategic plans to improve EHS performance.
  • Manage the HESS Management System, including Leadership, Planning, Support, Operation, Performance Evaluation and Improvement
  • Lead the site emergency response team, EHS committee.


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, science, safety, industrial hygiene or similar discipline. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Five (5) years of environmental, health and safety compliance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of federal, state/provincial and local EHS regulations is required.
  • Experience in the chemicals or consumer products industry is a plus.
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) is a plus.
  • Experience supervising employees is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications a plus (CSP, CIH, CHMM, PE)
  • Ability to communicate effectively to engage and influence all stake-holders.
  • Ability to act as a positive role model, influencing and motivating others and enhancing their ability to contribute to the organizational goals.
  • Ability to develop highly performing people and teams by managing and enhancing their performance, development, morale and results.
  • Self-motivated with a strong results orientation based on solid analytical thinking and judgment.
