RTI International's Center for Environmental Health, Risk, and Sustainability is looking for a Research Environmental Scientist. Required experience includes a candidate with expertise in Bayesian Network Modeling using BayesiaLab software, field and lab-based water sample collection and testing experience, and a demonstrated publication record related to water quality and/or environmental health research. The candidate will support current projects and assist in proposals to expand RTI's water quality and environmental health work.

The candidate must have the following talents:

The ability to communicate scientific concepts in both lay and technical terms.
The ability to multitask multiple deliverables efficiently and in a timely manner.
The ability to act as a natural problem solver.
Demonstrated ability in developing materials and working with a wide variety of audiences.

The candidate should have the following experience and knowledge:

PhD in environmental science, public health, or equivalent in a related scientific discipline.
Bayesian modeling expertise
Experience in organizing and conducting webinars and meetings
Experience in collecting, managing, and analyzing data
Experience with quality assurance and quality control
Experience in literature reviews, data summary, and data analysis
Knowledge in some or all fields: water quality, chemical contaminants, emerging contaminants, environmental health, and/or risk assessment
