Minimum Requirements:

A Master's degree in Biology or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Biology from a regionally accredited institution is required. Candidates must be able to teach Anatomy & Physiology I & II in seated evening classes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; excellent oral and written communication skills; a self-starter; team player, and the ability to work collaboratively with others is required. A valid North Carolina driver's license with a driving record sufficient to be covered under the Wayne Community College auto policy is required. Two years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred. Experience working in a diverse population and Bilingual is preferred.

Position Duties:

Instructional duties include teaching evening Anatomy & Physiology I & II courses. Classes meet on the main campus. Duties include submitting reports as required and maintaining student evaluation records; participation in curriculum development, revision, implementation, and evaluation; and performing all other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and/or Dean.
