As a Manager- Consulting, you will lead programs and set strategic direction for our engagements while aligning resources to delight our clients. You will utilize your love for critical thinking while leveraging long-term, renewable sourcing investments to achieve cost savings across markets.

You'll join GEP's Global Delivery Consulting Group and be part of our goal to build long-term relationships both at our clients and across our GEP family while we continue to expand and enjoy success in various verticals. You will act as an advisor while creating a successful team culture and coaching others.

What you will do:
  • Lead client engagements and coach teams while you contribute to the development and execution of procurement strategies including but not limited to: strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier relationship management and procurement transformation
  • Creatively create and utilize data sources to develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyse, compo;e supplier lists and execute market research
  • Develop sound recommendations to contribute to program objectives (cost savings, SLAs, Transformation, process optimization etc.)
  • Deliver effective presentations and communicate confidently with Fortune clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and support efforts to expand the scope of current project by leveraging existing relationships with C-level executives and contributing to business development efforts

Specifically in this vertical you will also:
  • Address important climate change issues by sourcing sustainably, retaining customer satisfaction and building upon existing solar infrastructure
  • Utilize the following strategies to enable the renewable energy transition and capture savings
    • Power Purchase Agreements (physical and virtual)
    • Energy Services Agreements
    • Capital Leasing
  • Accurately create and analyze Power Purchase Agreement RFP
  • Drive Engineering, Construction, and Procurement process planning
  • Complete site visits and feasibility evaluations
  • Perform market, price and financial analysis and business case
  • Develop and improve relationships with client's functional stakeholders

  • A minimum of five years of success partnering with clients as a management consultant OR a combination of consultancy and procurement industry including end-to-end procurement knowledge, ideally within energy, utilities, or capital projects
  • Knowledge of energy markets, electric generation, transmission, interconnection, and renewable energy technologies
  • Experience executing RFPs for Power Purchase Agreements
  • Proven success managing construction timelines, processes, and performance metrics
  • Ability to create relevant data analytics
  • Experience with permitting and regulation in the utilities industry and corporate sustainability initiatives
  • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions including performance management, SLA's and continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills for internal and external client facing
  • Expert in building stakeholder networks, influencing business stakeholders and creating delightful client experiences
  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA from an accredited college/university a plus
  • Willingness to travel to client sites weekly when safe to do so
