Lab Services Team Leader - $1000 Sign-On Bonus - Microbiology (3rd Shift)

Work involves coordinating the work of other Technologist and Technicians. In addition to performing the functions of Senior Technologist/Technician, this level is responsible for assigning and reviewing work, administering the quality control program, ensuring that schedule time frames are met, advising management of problem areas, assisting in employee actions, acting as liaison with other departments and customers on technical inquiries and test results.
THIS POSITION INCLUDES A $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS (for external candidates only).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or a related science
- Minimum 6 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required for Team Lead Level
- ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus
- High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
- Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
