A leading American manufacturing company is looking to hire a Regional Environmental Manager to be based out of their office in the Bay Area, CA The company has manufacturing, assembly, and services operations nationally. As part of the team, the Regional Environmental Manager will be responsible for providing oversight and improvement for all environmental functions for several sites across the Bay Area.
The Role:
Create, develop, and manage the company's environmental programs, policies, and procedures
Develop policies and programs around hazardous waste, RCRA, storm and waste water permitting, as well as transitioning into ISO 14001 from the company EMS
Providing practical and technical expertise, advice, and solutions
Promoting continuous improvement efforts in the Environmental function, integrating tactical and strategic Environmental planning
Analyze Environmental data, conduct audits, and implement findings regionally
The Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree preferable
7-10+ years of environmental experience; Title V preferable
Understanding of heavy manufacturing environments
Experience working with regulatory agencies such as calEPA
excellent communications skills verbal and written
