The Manager of Innovation & Project Development is responsible for the successful implementation of innovation and new business strategies for Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC. The position will have significant execution responsibilities as well as have input into innovation regarding emerging automotive trends.

- Supportdepartment leads and senior management on strategic initiatives as it pertains to changing technology with our car parc and emerging automotive trends.
- Own and drive the development, sustainability and growth of our Tire install programs.
- Identify and clarify businessrequirements for innovation and strategic projects.
- Responsible forassisting with development ofbusiness plans forinnovative andstrategic initiatives.
- Responsible for proof of concept (tests, pilots, etc.) of assigned strategic initiatives.
- Monitor external influences and industry landscape for new opportunities and input into refining BSROautomotivestrategy.
- Supportinternal leadershipandstakeholdersas assigned withcurrent plans and development ofnew strategic management initiatives.
- Provides measurableimpact to development and execution of innovation and strategy.
- May manage certain processes or projects within a defined budget set by management
- Works independently under limited supervision
- RequiredQualifications:
- Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues.
- Must work well with minimal supervision and be able to consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proven experience challenging the status quo and championing new initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, plan and deliver significant process improvements with major financial impact.
- Strong cross-functional partnership.
- Ability to influence without authority.
- 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree inbusinessor related discipline.
- Project Managementand Project Executionexperience.Preferred Qualifications
- Retail automotive/tireexperience.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
