Job Description
Position Summary:
The Director of Dealer Development is responsible for managing the overall dealer relationships of Morbark, Rayco and its affiliated brands. This primarily entails creating tools, processes and administrating new dealer qualifications, on-boarding new dealers, key measurements, necessary terminations and continuous improvements. Reports to the Unit Company President.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Communicates with the functional managers within the companies; i.e. Sales, Parts, Service, Warranty, Marketing, Accounting, Administration, etc. Creates and administrates dealer qualification tools and internal approvals of new dealers Leads the dealer review process, goals and scoring directly with the dealers Organizes and administrates dealer trainings and certifications from the various departments Organizes, improves and administrates key measurements related to dealer scoring Oversees the total on-boarding process of new dealers Communicates dealer improvements or necessary dealer changes internally and with the applicable dealers Organizes and administers dealer contracts; is liaison between us, dealers and Alamo legal when necessary Creates a dealer dashboard for sales, goals, maps and activities for Mgt to review when needed Position includes extensive travel and/or virtual meetings with existing dealerships Willing to take or make calls with dealers outside of a normal 8am-5pm time frame

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of dealer development experience or equipment dealer management employment
