The Role: Environmental Health and Safety Director
Location: Dripping Springs, TX

There are two additional facilities in Trinity and Rio Vista, Texas. Combined, they have more than 178,000 square feet of modern fabrication capacity. With quality employees and the equipment required to handle complicated structures, their primary focus is serving customers to provide turnkey fabrication and erection services with a focus on quality and safety in every project.
The Role
The Environmental Health and Safety Director will be responsible for implementation, maintenance, and accountability of policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

The Role
The Environmental Health and Safety Director will be responsible for implementation, maintenance, and accountability of policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversees company health and safety program for the company including managing the department employees
- Inspects construction sites to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
- Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections
- Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company
- Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics
- Monitors compliance with safety procedures
- Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings
- Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field or equivalent work experience is required
- At least 10 years of environmental health and safety responsibilities in construction/manufacturing industry with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Certified Director of Safety (CDS) and/or Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
- Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
