As a Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.'s Ecological Practice, you'll manage project teams to navigate today's complex environmental regulatory landscape, helping our clients to comply with the federal Clean Water Act (CWA), Endangered Species Act, and related state regulations. You will lead wetland and stream delineation and ecological monitoring field activities; compile, analyze, and review data; prepare reports and permit applications; and interact with clients and regulatory agencies.

  • B.S. or M.S. in a natural sciences field (e.g., Ecology, Biology, Environmental Sciences);
  • 6 to 9 years of experience performing and leading wetland and stream delineations;
  • Completion of a 40-Hour wetland delineation training course;
  • Experience preparing state and federal permits for stream and wetland encroachments;
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and work on a team of technical professionals.
  • Existing contacts to assist in expanding the delivery of our services to the manufacturing, mining, public sector, power, and real estate markets;
  • Strong leadership, team building, and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience with threatened and endangered species identification and surveying.
