POSITION PROFILE

This position will provide EHS support to the operations and will ensure that all practices are in compliance with Knoll's regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the maintenance and operation of the Environmental, Health and Safety program
  • Reinforce safety practices and procedures, mainly within a manufacturing environment
  • Review accident and incident reports with evaluation and corrective actions
  • Manage all Workers' Compensation claims (investigations, documentation)
  • Lead RTW and modified duty programs
  • Maintain filing system with regards to work related employee medical records and MSDS database
  • Maintain relationship with regulatory agencies (local, state, and federal)
  • Hazard Risk Assessment evaluations, developing and working with team to develop preventative measures as well as corrective actions
  • Conduct facility safety training including new hire safety orientation
  • Maintain Contractor Safety Program
  • Ability to develop, communicate ad implement project management plans
  • Prepare required EHS reports for site, corporate, and government purposes and ensure all facilities comply with regulatory standards.
  • Liaison with Manufacturing team
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years experience in an EHS position within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with Workers' Compensation
  • Experience working with OSHA regulations, as well as Environmental regulations including ISO 14001 experience
  • Experience working with regulatory compliance (air, waste & wastewater)
  • Exposure to ergonomic assessments


Required Experience

4 year college degree required
