The Kriwacki laboratory seeks a Research Technologist or Senior Research Technologist to contribute to studies of phase separation by intrinsically disordered associated with membrane-less organelles.The ideal candidate will have experience with recombinant protein expression in E. Coli, and chromatographic techniques for protein purification, including Ni-NTA affinity, ion-exchange, size-exclusion, and HPLC. Excellent analytical, record keeping and communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment are essential. The Research Technologist/Senior Research Technologist will be involved in the preparation of protein samples for collaborative studies of phase separation using a wide range of spectroscopic and biophysical methods.   • Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area is required.


Preferred prior lab experience in recombinant protein expression in E. Coli, and chromatographic techniques for protein purification.
