The Department of Social Sciences at Cameron University seeks qualified applicants to teach face to face courses in History or Political Science on a part-time (adjunct) basis on our Lawton and/or Duncan campuses. Most adjuncts teach general introductory level courses in U.S. History, American Federal Government, Western Civilization, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or Corrections, though other assignments are occasionally available.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master's degree in History, Political Science, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or related field, or 18 graduate hours in the discipline in which the candidate could teach.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master's degree or a Doctorate in History, Political Science, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or related field and experience teaching face to face and/or online.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
