This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the department may draw as sections become open at any point during the academic year. This posting may or may not result in hiring, dependent on our current needs, but we will keep applications on file. We are seeking adjunct instructors for the Department of Communication, English and Foreign Languages for Cameron University in Duncan and/or Lawton. We are particularly interested in instructors in foreign languages,in college writing, professional writing, communication, and public relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Adjuncts holding this position may teach a maximum of 9 credit hours a semester. Other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • For courses in baccalaureate programs, a Master's Degree in the field of instruction is required. In some student success courses in English, a Bachelor's degree, significant graduate work in the field, and significant experience can establish eligibility.
  • Three years experience teaching minimum.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's Degree in the appropriate field and significant teaching experience.


SALARY:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
