Assistant Professor of Cancer Biology

The Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Cancer Biology, including cancer genetics and proteomics, cancer cell biology, tumor microenvironment, cancer stem cells, metastasis, tumor immunology, chemical biology, cancer metabolism, oncogenic signal transduction pathways, genome integrity, cancer epigenetics, and cancer-related systems biology and bioinformatics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
Teaching responsibilities may include mentoring students.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include establishment and maintenance of an externally funded independent research program. Candidates must show evidence of academic scholarship and publications.
