Tradebe is looking for an Environmental intern to assist Tradebe's environmental compliance team on some small and large scale projects. This position allows the opportunity to work alongside the Environmental Team that oversees several of Tradebe's Treatment Storage and Disposal Facilities, this includes site visits to Tradebe's RCRA Facilities. On occasion you will accompany the Environmental Team in observing facility inspections. Alternate days you will be working with Environmental Team in the office, with guidance researching State and Federal regulations that will assist in the development of environmental programs described below.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform a combination of field and office work with Environmental Professionals
  • Periodically participating in site inspections for environmental compliance at multiple regulated facility
  • Join in environmental group meetings to collaborate with Environmental Managers and Specialists regarding environmental policies and regulations
  • Provide assistance in the development of job training, standard operating procedures and reporting requirements for the various environmental programs
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of RCRA Air Emissions Compliance Program
  • Assist in entering data for environmental reporting
  • Assist in the updating Tradebe's Audit Book


Qualifications/Education:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering preferred, but other related degrees will be considered
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations
  • Good working knowledge of chemicals/chemistry
  • Auto Cad experience is a plus
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Computer skills, proficient in excel and desktop publishing
