Job Title: Scientist - Discovery Support II / Protein Expression and Molecular Biology Scientist

Location: San Diego CA

Duration: 18 Months (Contract with possibility of extension) on W2

Key responsibilities will include mammalian cell tissue culture, plasmid preparation and cloning, media and buffer preparation, and general lab maintenance activities.

Skills: 1) Mammalian tissue culture and sterile technique

2) DNA vector preparation and manipulation

3) Experimental planning and execution.

Undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Bioengineering-related disciplines.

Undergraduate education experience in general biological laboratory processes.

At least 1 year of laboratory experience required, with >2 years preferred.

Bachelor of Science/Arts/Engineering - min of 1 year experience (can be internship or full time exp -- not just experience from classes)
