About the Job
We are currently seeking an As-Needed, qualified biologist to assist with wildlife corridor surveys. The qualified biologist will join our northern California biological resources team in conducting a game camera-based wildlife corridor study. We are particularly interested in someone with experience setting camera stations and uploading SD Card data. This position will be based out of our Sacramento or Oakland office.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Program game cameras
- Set game camera sets
- Upload SD card data to remote server
- Potentially review photos for species information
- Collect field data regarding set locations
- Input field data into Excel spreadsheets
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology or related natural resources field or to be completed by June 2021
- 1-5 years' experience in natural resource planning and management or related field or related lab experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience programming and installing game cameras
- Familiar with ESRI Collector (or GIS) and digital Form input
- Familiar with Excel
- Takes direction well, is a good communicator and team member
- Ability to conduct fieldwork in challenging terrain and weather conditions as necessary
