Job summary
The Red Hat Digital Experience Platforms team is looking for a collaborative and energetic Project Manager to join us in the U.S. In this role, you will focus on various facets of feature development, data retrieval, and findability on Red Hat's Ecosystem Catalog. You will partner with stakeholders, development teams, and subject matter experts to lead large and impactful initiatives to success.
Primary job responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product manager for the Ecosystem Catalog to build and maintain product roadmap that follows the objectives and key results (OKR) structure that tracks evolving high-level goals, ensuring the teams involved are engaged in their mission
- Create solid, sustainable, and scalable processes and demonstrate prolific project management skills to guide implementation cross-functionally across all stakeholders
- Regularly collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and UX, web development, marketing, and IT teams to advance site development, workflow, and UX enhancements while managing the day-to-day backlog of the site
- Operate in an inclusive meritocracy to solve problems effectively and efficiently
Required skills
- 3-5 years of experience leading technical projects or programs; preferably in high-tech enterprise environments
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills for measuring and managing delivery
- Solid project management skills; detail-oriented and thorough in your approach to projects
- Experience building and realizing complex communication plans across several teams
- Experience partnering with and serving teams of engineering, business, and design stakeholders
- Familiarity with agile practices and ability to balance engineering and UX agility with longer-term stakeholder planning needs
- Familiarity with service-oriented architecture; previous involvement in delivery of single page applications is a plus
- Desire to work in an open organization; open source participation is a plus
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Red Hat's portfolio of offerings and our subscription business model is a plus
- Knowledge of open source software solutions and open source as a business model is a plus
