  • The EHS Manager will be responsible for partnering with site level operations team for their assigned sites to execute company EHS policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations. The EHS Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our Team Members. The EHS Manager must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the operations team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.

  • Multi-site responsibility
  • Perform all EHS training
  • Update and maintain Corporate EH&S Section of GDC software
  • Perform routine site inspections and program audits
  • Maintain document system for site EHS program
  • Prepare monthly EH&S metric reports
  • Partner with staff and contractors for safety improvements, products, etc.
  • Lead Hearing Conservation Program
  • Complete safety audits and maintain records for regulatory compliance
  • Participate in EHS scheduled calls
  • Identify hazardous conditions/actions within all plants and recommend corrective measures
  • File and maintain all federal, state and plant specific files and insure documentation
  • Performs incident investigations for accidents, near misses, injuries, spills, and other site related emergencies
  • Encourages and maintains a high degree of employee involvement in safety programs
  • Leads the site safety committee and first response teams
  • Reviews, approves and writes RA's
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
  • Lead the Plant in Safety initiatives and programs
  • Perform any other duties established by the Corporate EH&S leadership team

  • BS. Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related preferred; 3-5 Safety experience in a manufacturing environment; certification in a Safety field
  • Completion of 10 and 30 hour OSHA courses
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong oral presentation skills
  • Able to prepare visual training presentations tailored to audience
