We are looking for a global Industry Business Development Manager for the Higher Education and Research (HER) market who will bring together knowledge and expertise in High Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence to build and package solutions for the global academic research community. NVIDIA seeks an experienced Business Development leader to help expand this market by growing knowledge and adoption of NVIDIA GPU's to drive breakthroughs in research.

Academic research continues to be at the forefront of solving the world's greatest problems and NVIDIA accelerated computing technology is used in research for climate change, agriculture and food security, developing new sources of energy, healthcare and life sciences and many other areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be on the front lines of ground-breaking research! This role will require someone that thrives when working across a wide variety of academic domains, can work effectively across NVIDIA business units to create solutions, work with Partners to build effective go-to-market strategies and work with researchers and academic technology leaders to insure our solutions meet their needs.

What you'll be doing:
  • You will lead the enablement process for GPU computing products and assist in building creative solutions based on NVIDIA technology for the HER market.
  • Engage with academic researchers and the NVIDIA eco-system to identify and prioritize new and replicable high-value, domain-specific solutions using GPU Acceleration.
  • Work collaboratively with NVIDIA sales, marketing and engineering teams to appropriately position NVIDIA products for the Education market.
  • Focus on adoption of NVIDIA technologies for AI, AI enhanced HPC workflows, and in new academic subject areas adopting DL/ML and Data Analytics technologies.
  • Engage with NVIDIA direct sales and channel teams to insure successful route to market of specific campaigns.


What we need to see:
  • Bachelor's degree + Graduate or post-graduate studies or equivalent experience, with experience working in academic research, ideally, in computational science domains.
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of NVIDIA and accelerated computing and how it is used in Academic research.
  • HPC and AI knowledge
  • Experience working with Academic customers in either a sales, marketing or technical, application support role
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills


Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • A passion for the academic research environment
  • Experience translating technology to consumable sales enablement and marketing messaging
  • MS or PhD degrees are desirable
