Environmental Professional, CSP- (Part-time) Laramie, WY, or Golden, CO
Trihydro, one of the top environmental and engineering consulting firms in the country, has an opening for an Environmental Professional. We are looking for a professional that has an environmental background and can serve as the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) on our projects. The ideal candidate will join our Government Services Business Unit and assist in providing clients across many industries with effective, responsive, and safe solutions. As a member of our team, you will support our diverse range of clients, from Fortune 100 companies, to the federal government, to local communities nationwide to continuously improve human health and the environment. In your role as an Environmental Professional, the responsibilities would include assessment and remediation projects, including RCRA/CERCLA sites; performing due diligence/industrial compliance audits; permitting/regulatory compliance support; and other technical/BD/Mktg support as needed. Other job responsibilities will include budgeting, general project and client management, and business development. In your role as a CSP or CIH your responsibilities would include safety audits, project hazard analysis, mitigation of hazards and guidance to others in the Government Services Business Unit regarding safety related topics and training. The preferred candidate will be based in our corporate Laramie WY or Golden CO office. Our team is looking for someone who has:

- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certification

- A BS or MS degree (preferably a MS) in engineering, geology, environmental science or related field

- 5-15 years of relevant experience, along with a CSP or CIH certification.

- A Clean driving record

- Understanding of and experience working in Behavior Based Safety programs and leading work in that framework

- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, coworkers, subcontractors, and other project team members

- Demonstrated ability to fulfill commitments on budget/schedule and to do what it takes to meet client service expectations and requirements

- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables

- Direct industry employment history in environmental compliance or related field

- Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on client service and cultivating long standing relationships

- Ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices
