Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Biologist for employment in the New York, NY office.
This position is expected to begin in December 2020.

About DCSA-Environment
With world class technical expertise, leading edge technology and innovative project delivery capability around the world, AECOM's global environmental practice helps industry and government meet their business goals - to achieve compliance, reduce or eliminate risks and manage impacts. We provide advisory and technical services to help clients cleanup and close contaminated sites and surplus operational facilities and restore them for reuse, plan and permit new facilities, address critical climate change issues, restore habitats and water quality, protect natural and cultural resources, maintain compliance, and cost effectively manage residuals and wastes.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Balance of field and office support/reporting tasks to support projects in the power, federal, state/local and industrial market sectors.
- Travel throughout Northeastern US.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Wetland Science, Ecology, Environmental Science or related field.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational and intern background in biological field sampling/survey, wetlands delineation, on-water biological/media sampling desirable.
- OSHA 40 Hazwoper certification.
- Ability to travel in the northeastern US.
- Strong computer skills.
- GIS experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
