As Assistant/Associate Professor of Environmental Studies, you will: teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as applicable; be involved in course and/or curriculum development; conduct research/scholarship; participate on College and University committees and/or initiatives; and perform other duties as assigned. You will also be considered a faculty member within the Water School, an exciting new initiative at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Required Qualifications
Ph.D. or Ed.D. in a related discipline from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation.
Demonstrated evidence of or potential for quality teaching in support of the Environmental Studies B.A. program, and graduate programs in Environmental Studies (M.A.) and Environmental Science (M.S.).
Demonstrated evidence of research in Environmental Studies.
Interest in teaching across the undergraduate and graduate curriculum, including general education.
ABD candidates will be considered if degree is conferred by August 7, 2020. If successful candidate is ABD, appointment will be made at a Lecturer level on a fixed contract.
Essential Job Duties
Engages in teaching, research and service activities commensurate with expectations for faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences. Involved in local and regional research related to environmental studies. Involved in curriculum development in the B.A. and M.A. Environmental Studies degree programs.
