Interns will receive a stipend at the conclusion of the internship to offset living expenses during the experience. The stipends are sponsored by a generous donation from ExxonMobil.
The Houston Zoo Collegiate Conservation Program internship will focus on two important aspects of conservation – saving animals in the wild and sharing the message.
Saving Animals in the Wild

Repairing foot paths
Removing predator pens
Sharing the Message
On grounds interpretation
Education program development
Throughout the 10 week internship, participants will discover how these two are tied together.
